This little fishing boat is built in the UK, but it would be great for fishing along US shores as well.

The Sea Champion 18 was a cool little fishboat we found on display at the Southampton Boat show, and it illustrates a lot of the differences between boats built on this side of the Atlantic, versus those built over there in the UK. Even though it’s just 18′ it has a pilothouse. But, it still has a ton of fishing room in the open cockpit. Check it out.
So, where can you get one? Truth be told, you’re not likely to see a Sea Champion over here, although the distributor told me they were trying to find ways to sell them in the US. But with a sticker price of about a mere £20,000, it may just be worthwhile to put one in a shipping container, and send it our way. I know we could make good use of it!
The Sea Champion 18 is a UK-built fish boat that would work just as well in the US.
