Overview: A relatively large Cruisers Sport Series cuddy cabin boat.

Concept: Build a cuddy boat in the Sport Series with the same attention to detail and equipping as is used with Cruisers’ yachts.

-Hatches and doors are RTM molded, to maximize strength, minimize weight, and provide a finished surface inside and out.

Length 27’0″
Beam 8’6″
Max Draft 3’3″
Deadrise 22 degrees
Displacement 5,780 lbs
Fuel capacity 68 gal

-Aluminum plates beef up the engine mounting system, and back up deck hardware.

- Seat cushions, bases, and backs are all composite.

Performance & Handling:

-Top-end comes close to 50-MPH, with a 320-hp Volvo-Penta stern drive.

-Steps in the hullside chines help the boat dig in and grip in tight turns, while breaking adhesion to boost fuel economy.

-22-degree deadrise bottom slices open a one-foot chop easily, while the additional forward weight of the cabin keeps the bow down during acceleration.

Unique features:

-Swing-open head compartment in the passenger’s console keeps the cabin clear of unwanted head odors.

-Standard equipment list is extensive, and includes extras like a Bimini top, 12-gallon freshwater system, and bow and stern cockpit covers.
