Nautor’s Swan will be exhibiting its newest superyacht, the Swan 100S at the Monaco Yacht Show 2005, which runs from 21 – 24 September in Port Hercules, Monaco. Launched just a few months ago, this impressive Swan will no doubt be a popular attraction at Port Hercules and will be available for private viewings at stand QE1, Quai des Etats Unis.
Designed for cruising, the Swan 100S has a semi-raised saloon, and accompanies the Swan 100FD (flush deck) and Swan 100RS (raised saloon) in the burgeoning SwanLine. She varies subtly from her sister yachts, incorporating the performance design of the Swan 100FD, with the practicality and spaciousness of the Swan 100RS.
The Swan 100S was finished by Nautor’s Swan’s skilled craftsmen at the Nautor’s Swan Custom facility in Pietarsaari, Finland. Designed by German Frers, there is scope with a yacht of this size and stature for the owner to direct its design details and styling, with varied degrees of customisation available. For this reason, although maintaining the quintessential outward appearance of a Swan, the Swan 100S is a unique yacht built to her owner’s tastes. Along with the Swan 100S, on display at the Monaco Yacht Show will be information about the other yacht models under construction at Nautor’s Swan Custom, both the superyachts from the current SwanLine and those yachts that have been individually commissioned by owners and designed by navel architects forging new relationships with Nautor’s Swan. Models currently under construction include the Swan 131, the Brenta 76, and the Tripp 78.
In addition to presenting the Swan 100S at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Swan 112 will be moored in front of Port Hercules and will be available for viewing upon request at the Nautor’s Swan stand. A groundbreaking superyacht for Nautor’s Swan, this model proved the company’s capabilities in producing quality yachts of exquisite detail over 100 feet, and set the standard for subsequent SwanLine designs with its technical innovation and stylish finish. As with the Swan 100S, customisation of the interior and exterior details makes this yacht unique, and offers viewers the opportunity to witness the scope that Nautor’s Swan offers owners when producing yachts of these dimensions.
