The obvious advantage of the Northern Lights M1064H marine diesel generator is its compact size. The less obvious benefit is the way the M1064H performs.

Featuring the company’s new electronic control unit, the generator has four valves per cylinder and uses high-pressure common rail electronic fuel injection technology — meeting Tier II marine emission requirements. Northern Lights bills M1064H as the smallest generator on the market in its kilowatt range, producing 105 kW at 60 Hz (1,800 rpm) and 90 kW at 50 Hz (1,500 rpm). Other advances, such as pilot injection, give the M1064H an edge with faster warm-ups and a reduction in smoke and noise.
