Pioneer's new Nautica speakers were designed expressly for the marine environment.

A good onboard sound system is important to many boaters, but without the right speakers, even the most expensive system could sound no different than the cheap one you had in your first car.

Pioneer’s new Nautica speakers were designed expressly for the marine environment to stand up to extreme heat, humidity, corrosion and water (including salt water). After research to determine what boaters desired in a marine speaker, Pioneer designed the

Nautica speakers from the grounding-wire up, including features such as improved materials for the marine environment, fade-resistant exteriors, gold tinsel wiring and gold-plated wire terminals for better current transfer, increased bass response (on the 8-inch speaker) and a modern exterior design.

Nautica speakers are available in a 6-1/2-inch dual cone model, a 6-1/2-inch two-way model and an 8-inch model.

Price is $80.
