A wide range of frequencies is the hallmark of Standard Horizon’s all-new HX470S tri-band radio. The unit can be used for radioing other boats or keeping up with family members on shore.

The HX470S is also capable of receiving AM, FM and aeronautical bands, as well as a distress beacon. The radio can be hooked up to your existing GPS, allowing your position to be transmitted as a distress call with the push of a button. Its battery will deliver 10 to 12 hours of continuous operation, and the unit is submersible to 3 feet or for 30 minutes.

Price is $665.
