Foster Earns Third Consecutive Saskatoon Victory

SASKATOON, Canada — Greg Foster drove his tunnel boat to victory at the Great Northern River Roar July 22, the third race of the Laughlin Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour season. SASKATOON, Canada — Greg Foster drove his tunnel boat to victory at the Great Northern River Roar July 22, the third race of the Laughlin Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour season. It was Foster’s third consecutive win at the annual Saskatoon tour stop.

“This event has been very good to me over the past few years,” said Foster. “For the last two years, I have enjoyed coming to Saskatoon as the defending champion and look forward to next years event.”

Foster led from start to finish but was challenged by Tim Seebold. The two boats raced deck-to-deck for 40 laps but Seebold could never overtake Foster and finished in second. Terry Rinker finished third.

Foster dominated throughout the weekend. Before winning the race, he was the fastest qualifier and won two preliminary heats. He has been the top qualifier at two of three races this season and has secured four heat victories.

The Great Northern River Roar Formula One race will be televised on ESPN2 on
Saturday, August 25 at 4 p.m. (E.D.T.). The next stop on the tour is the Robert Young Apartments & Suites Tri-Cities Water Follies in Tri-Cities, Wash., July 27-29.
