Flare Up
Skyblazer offers a flare kit sized perfectly for personal watercraft

Compact and lightweight enough to carry on a life vest or in a personal watercraft glove box, PWC/Kayaking Kit could be a lifesaver.
You’ll probably never need an emergency signal kit. You’ll probably stow it and discover it when you sell your personal watercraft to make room for a newer model. But at the very least, a signal package such as the PWC/Kayaking Kit from Skyblazer can give you piece of mind. In a worst-case scenario, such as your watercraft sinking in the open ocean, it could save your life.
The kit contains two hand-launched Twin Star XLT aerial flares, an emergency whistle attached to a lanyard, a 10-mile signal mirror attached to a lanyard and a nylon carrying pouch. All items fit inside the pouch, which is compact and lightweight enough to be worn on a rider’s vest.
Each flare contains two red signaling “meteors” that are launched simultaneously. For better visibility, the top star reaches an altitude of 400 feet, while the bottom star reaches a height of 250 feet. At their peak altitudes and in optimal conditions, the flares’ ten-second burn reportedly can be seen for 22 miles. The flares have pull-chain ignition for simple operation, and are waterproof.
