Measuring 24′ long, the new-for-2002 Zodiac Medline III is the largest and most luxurious model in a series of rigid inflatable boats that includes the 19’8″ Medline II and 15’9″ Medline I. According to a press release from the manufacturer, all Medline models feature a deep-V hull with integrated trim tabs for quick planing and excellent all-around performance.
Standard features include a fold-down pilot seat that converts to a sunlounge and a high console, with a windshield for comfortable seating or standing operation. A telescoping ladder and a step on the rear deck are provided for easy reboarding for swimmers and watersports enthusiasts. (A shower kit is also is standard on the Medline III.) Additional features include stowage lockers, a folding “roll bar” and a nonskid deck.
Fuel capacity for the Medline III, which boasts twin tanks, is almost 100 gallons. It is designed to handle up to a pair of 150-horsepower outboard engines.
Optional equipment for Medline series models includes a bimini top, picnic table, special sundeck cushions, thermoelectric cooler (Medline III only) and fold-out cooktop (Medline III only).
