Measuring 23′ long and 8’4″ wide, the Cruisemaster 700 from Australian builder Whittley is filled with useful goodies. Among the boat’s innovative features is a power-management system that incorporates a solar panel and batteries, which enables cruisers to head for remote locations that don’t have shore power. A hot and cold retractable transom shower also is standard.

The cabin of the Cruisemaster 700 includes a completey galley and a berth.

The cabin offers sleeping accommodations for four adults. A bi-fold door on the head locker provides privacy for the boat’s full-height shower, vanity basin and chemical toilet. The galley features a two-burner stove and stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water. Handmade teak cabinets, a refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven enhance function and form.

Helm station highlights include an automobile-style dash with VDO instruments, a digital depth gauge and alarm. A remote control is provided for the boat’s CD stereo system.

Diesel and gasoline stern-drive engine packages from MerCruiser and Volvo Penta are offered. With a MerCruiser 4.3EFI engine, suggested retail price for the 700 Cruisemaster is $49,000.
